Abstract

A design of a circular polarized corrugated horn feed for reflectarray antenna. The feed is composed of corrugated horn, rectangle-circle supporting structure, septum polarizer and standard waveguide converter. The simulation results show that the reflection coefficient is lower than -20 dB in the frequency range of 32 GHz-37 GHz, and the cross-polarization level of the feed antenna is lower than -30 dB at the frequency point of 35GHz.The antenna has a good symmetric radiation pattern, and the axial ratio of the antenna is lower than 1 dB in the frequency range of 32 GHz-38GHz. The antenna can be used as a feed for the reflectarray antenna.
