Abstract
In order to solve the pseudonoise (PN) code acquisition in non-Gaussian multiplicative noise channels, a new detector was proposed. Modeling the acquisition problem as a hypothesis testing problem, the detector is derived for multiplicative noise, based on the locally optimum detection technique. The numerical results show that the proposed detector can offer substantial performance improvement over the conventional schemes in multiplicative noise channels.
