How to obtain the credibility of a simulation model is still the core issue prior to its application. Based on the introduction of model credibility, a method of workflow for obtaining the credibility of a simulation model is brought forward, the essentials including factor space establishment, similarity analysis, result transformation and defect tracing are explained, then a case study which provides a walk through application of the method is presented. The method corrects and clarifies some misunderstanding in model validation, and provides a practical way to obtain the model credibility.",
