Abstract

In broadband inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging, the rapidly spinning motion introduces intense range cell migration, which can significantly affect the imaging quality. In this paper, we have combined the advantages of particle swarm optimization and matched-filter-bank to achieve high resolution imaging of space debris. For the proposed method, particle swarm optimization is used to perform efficiently parametric search and the matched-filter-bank is used to achieve accurately parameter estimation. The simulation results demonstrate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method under complex conditions.
