Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A mass conserving level set (LS) method is developed to capture the gas-liquid interface. The lost mass is remedied by considering the local interface curvature. The Zalesak's disk and two dimensional deformation velocity field are used to demonstrate the accuracy of the present method. This method lays a solid foundation for further investigation of mechanism of liquid atomization.
