title = "A log-periodic bow-tie dipole antenna",
abstract = "Taking place the elements of normal LPDA. a log-periodic bow-tie dipole antenna is proposed in this paper in order to reduce the size of the antenna, which operates in a broadband of 0.4GHz-2GHz. Both of this antenna and the normal LPDA are designed and simulated with the application of CST MICROWAVE STUDIO{\textregistered} software based on the Finite Integral Method. The simulation results and analyses are presented to show that the antenna achieves the purpose of miniature by compressing the necessary lateral and longitudinal size to 2/3 of the normal log-periodic antenna, while keeping its radiation characteristics such as VSWR, radiate pattern and gain nearly constant.",
