Abstract

To improve the efficiency and reliability of the DC transformer in the new energy power system and reduce the cost and volume, in the paper, a step-up DC transformer is proposed. Proposed topology has advantages of low number of devices, high efficiency, low cost and high reliability. The IGBTs are all capable of full-range soft switching, and the submodule arms can flexibly regulate the voltage to achieve wide voltage range regulation and high-quality DC current control.
