Abstract

Based on the study of the static coefficients of the bridge cross section, the grey system theory was applied in this paper. A novel Grey model GM (1, 1) was established to predict the static coefficients of different bridge cross section. The predicting results achieved by GM (1, 1) show great agreement with the experimental results. It is shown that the method put forward in this paper is a feasible and reliable method for the prediction of the drag components of the static coefficients.
