Abstract

To successfully implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project and avoid the risks of the ERP project, the key factors which affect ERP implementation were discussed, a set of evaluation systems were established, and an evaluation model based on fuzzy Petri nets was proposed. The evaluation model supported by mathematic theory is simple and easy to implement computationally. The evaluation model proposes a quantitative evaluation method for the implementation of an ERP project. Finally, an example is presented to show that the model is effective for the ERP project evaluation.
