Abstract

Pole is independent of the direction and polarization of the incident wave, but the residue corresponding to the pole is related to the direction of polarization of the incident wave. And residue size is proportional to the size of the pole. This paper chooses the frequency which can make the residue maximum in the high-frequency band as the optimal frequency, to achieve accurate extraction. The simulation results of a large number of ship targets show that an average recognition rate of this method, compared with the average recognition rate of randomly selected frequency, has risen markedly.
