Abstract

This paper introduce a wideband dual-polarized antenna unit for millimeter-wave phased array applications. The radiators consist of four C-shaped patches shorted to the ground plane, and are fed by two L-shaped probes. The antenna unit can achieve wideband impedance matching in the scanning angle of ± 60°. The phased array with 16×16 units has a maximum gain of 28.9 dBi and a sidelobe level below -12dB under different scanning angles.
