N2 - This paper presents a simple structured electromagnetic energy harvesting surface with a resonant frequency design at 2.45 GHz and a dual-polarization characteristic that can be used to absorb electromagnetic energy in space for applications in wireless power transfer systems (WPT). Unlike conventional designs, the proposed surface does not require complex combiners, but only uses channeling traces structure to transfer energy between adjacent surfaces, and is printed on a double-layer PCB with a profile height of only 0.0124 0. This paper also further validates the possibility of multiple cell expansions that would allow the surface to be better adapted to low power density electromagnetic environments such as urban and semi-urban.
