Abstract

A distributing control system was constructed by selecting PLC as field controller and configuration software as centralized control software. RS485 standard bus was adopted to build up communication network, which possesses advantages of high speed, far distance and low cost. The communication between configuration software and main control server was implemented by using OPC interface. The system has run on the spot and works well.
