Abstract

Airside heat exchanger is one of the key parts of an air source heat pump water chillers/heaters (ASHPWCH) unit. This paper developed a distributed and steady-state model of an airside heat exchanger. Standard and other four representative running condition of summer of airside heat exchanger are simulated and analyzed. The simulated results are compared with the experimental data provided by manufacturers. As shows that the model is accurate and can be applied to different type airside heat exchangers.
