Abstract

In order to provide better sinusoidal current input for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and to gain faster current-tracking speed of the close-loop system, this paper proposes a current control scheme with tracking mode for PMSM. This scheme that bases on the hysteretic PWM control scheme introduces frequency feedback to enable the switching frequency to stabilize the commanded switching frequency with space vector control technique. This paper depicted the mathematical model of PMSM first; then analyzed the principle of the proposed control scheme; finally, designed a digital PMSM control system using TMS320F2812 DSP chip and achieved with the proposed control scheme. The experimental results show us the proposed scheme can provide good sine wave of the input current for PMSM, and the tracking speed of the input current is fast.
