Abstract

This work presents a compact and low-cost monopulse feed antenna based on gap waveguide at W-band. The proposed antenna is based on a pyramidal horn fed by a comparater network, integrating in double-layer GGW. Hybrid E- and H-plane 3dB coulpers are used to form a very compact comparator network structure, while suppressing energy leakage. The antenna operating band covering 88-100 GHz (13%) with reflection coefficient below -15 dB and isolation below -20 dB. Furthermore, the antenna exhibits a SUM beam gain of 16 dBi and DIFF beam null depth below than -30 dB at 94GHz.
