Abstract

In order to meet the needs of broadband low profile phased array design, a novel tapered composite directional miniature high gain dipole antenna in 3D planar structure with gain index of 6-8 dB i and front height of 0.135 wavelength, is presented, which combines the parasitic and incentive units, and network and array environment. The calculation results show that the antenna can meet the requirements of three-octave, 30° power sweep, which provides techniques for low profile orientaion ultra-wideband antenna, and gives supports for UWB system application.
