Abstract

We present the room temperature continuous wave Ho:LSO laser double-pass pumped by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser. Continuous wave output power of 3.5 W at 2105 nm with linewidth of 2.3 nm was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 13.9 W, corresponding to a conversion efficiency of 25.2% and a slope efficiency of 46.9%.
