Abstract

Our study reveals results from an actively mode-locked Ho-doped fiber laser based on an all-polarization-maintaining structure. By adjusting the ratio frequency of the modulator, the actively mode-locked laser can operate at the fundamental frequency and higher harmonics. The laser operates at a repetition rate of 83.6 MHz and the pulse width of 900 ps, with the full width at half maximum of the optical spectrum of 3.5 nm.
