Abstract

This paper examines the application and funding of talent projects within the artificial intelligence discipline (F06) of the information science department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China from 2018 to 2023. The focus includes various programs such as young program, regions program, national science fund for excellent young program, and national science fund for distinguished young program. The analysis covers the funding distribution across different fields, the age and gender of applicants, the distribution of supporting institutions, and changes in funding patterns among these institutions. This paper provides valuable insights into the development of talent teams and strategic planning in the field of artificial intelligence.
