Abstract

Due to the reasons such as personnel walking and equipment vibration, industrial plants usually adopt the low rise form. However, for the high speed construction of Chinese cities, it has become a consensus to improve the three dimensional space usage and the efficiency of industrial land. More and more high rise industrial plants are built, and "skyscraper factories" have emerged as they are needed. For high rise industrial plants, the study of vibration is even more important. Based on the actual high rise industrial plant under construction, this paper adopts three methods of theoretical analysis, field measurement and finite element simulation for evaluating the peak acceleration of floor vibration of high rise industrial plant under pedestrian loading. The simulation results are compared to verify the accuracy of the finite element model. According to the field measurement results combined with the finite element simulation results, the transmission law of vibration response between the same floor and different floors is analyzed.
