Abstract
For the purpose of better simulating the output of actual motor, electromagnetic effects, including magnetic saturation, cross-coupling effects and rotor magnetic field harmonic effects, and thermal effects, including motor losses and temperature rise effects, are analyzed to explore the variation law of electromagnetic parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motor. A variable parameter model that simultaneously reflects the magnetic characteristics and thermal characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motors was established. The output port characteristics of the fixed parameter model motor emulator, variable parameter model motor emulator and actual permanent magnet synchronous motor were compared. According to the simulation results, the discretization numerical algorithm and resolution step size of the motor model used have good resolution accuracy. The motor model solution results can be effectively tracked by the emulator current closed-loop control strategy. The experimental results show that the emulator based on variable parameter model has a good simulation accuracy for the actual motor port characteristics, and the accuracy is higher than that of the emulator based on the fixed parameter model. It is a good choice for the development of high precision electric machine emulator.
