Abstract

The amorphous filler metals characterized by uniform composition and pure material serve as a new representative of the application of amorphous alloy, which has attracted great attention of welding workers at home and abroad. The present study mainly review the research reports on amorphous filler metals in the last decade. Firstly, the research reports on amorphous filler metals at home and abroad in the field of welding were overviewed. Secondly, the latest researches on eight kinds of amorphous filler metals, namely Ni-based, Ti-based, Zr-based, Cu-based, Fe-based, Sn-based, Co-based and Al-based were summarized in detail, and a brief introduction of the application of amorphous filler metals in golf clubs, divertors, radiators and other key components was conducted. At last, the limitations and research trends of the research on amorphous filler metals were put forward, so as to provide theoretical guidance and reference for related research and technological development in brazing field.
