Abstract
With 5052 aluminum alloy as experimental material, the pore forming process and its influencing factors were studied during the laser welding and laser wire filling welding through the observation of welding molten pool flow and bubble generation process. In the process of laser welding, the flow of molten pool at low speed model was turbulent, and the bubble was moving backward along the edge of the molten pool. At high speed model, the flow of molten pool was stable, and the bubble was moving upwards along the wall of the keyhole. The fed wire had great influence on the stability of the molten pool and keyhole, which made the flow of the molten pool turbulent and impeded the movement of the bubble generated at the end of the keyhole. In this way, the quantity of residual pores in the weld greatly increased. With the back wire feeding way, the wire had greater influence on the molten pool and the keyhole. The liquid flow in the molten pool was turbulent, the bubble flow track was longer and there were more pores in the weld.
