Abstract
The inflatable net system has its own special advantages in space capture, which could be compacted into a small volume and have a large capture area. Because of the support of the inflatable boom, the system is more stable, resulting in more application than the tether-net system. The dynamic model of the inflatable net system based on absolute node coordinate method(ANCF) and collision model of flexible body based on Hertz theory are established, which are used for the simulation of capture of space targets. Simulation results show that, the analysis of statics and vibration can provide reference for selecting parameters of mechanism. When external disturbance is applied to the rope rather than the inflatable boom, the vibration of the system will be greater. The excessive stiffness of the inflatable boom will increase the closing force. The deflation of the inflatable boom can reduce its stiffness and reduce the closing force, which is about 10% of the original, with the result of being good to the design of the closing mechanism. Then through the dynamic simulation of the whole process of closing capture, the key indicators that affect the closing process are analyzed, which can prove the reasonableness of the capture strategy and the accuracy of the dynamic model. The research results can provide an effective basis for the design of the new inflatable net system for space capture.
