Abstract

When the spacecraft is in orbit, in the face of complex and changeable external heat flow environment and significant differences in internal heat consumption, it is a higher challenge for its thermal control system to ensure that each functional component of the spacecraft meets the predetermined temperature control requirements. However, the traditional temperature control technology has the disadvantages of high energy consumption and complex mechanical structure of the device, which is not suitable for the current demand of lightweight and low energy consumption in the field of thermal radiation regulation. Therefore, the dynamic regulation of emissivity has become a hot spot in the research of infrared thermal radiation regulation technology. To explore the practical application value of the thermal radiation control devices based on electro-induced emissivity materials in the intelligent thermal control of spacecraft field, this paper summarizes the working principles and research progress of electro-induced infrared thermal radiation control devices based on two-dimensional materials, metal oxides, conductive polymers, and metals, and then predicts that devices will further be developed toward large-area and multi-band compatibility to ensure adaptability and reliability in complex environments.
