Abstract
In order to improve and optimize the integrated dynamic performance of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) used in electric vehicles, the nonlinear dynamic model is established after obtaining the flux characteristic curves. A multi-objective simultaneous optimizing switching angle method was proposed to increase the SRM dynamic performance and the optimal turn-on and turn-off angle model as functions of rotor speed and load torque was established. The optimal torque controller of the SRM drive was designed with the variable turn-on and turn-off angle functions. And three coefficients were proposed to compare this method with the average torque optimization method using the optimal torque controller. The comparison and experiment results show that the multi-objective simultaneous optimization controller can effectively improve the integrated dynamic performance of the SRM used in electric vehicles.
