Abstract

A diversity scheme for multi-carrier systems is essential for the development of communication technology. A fractional domain four-component computational diversity(FDFC-CD) method is designed for hybrid carrier systems to improve the diversity performance of hybrid carrier systems by using the feature that fractional Fourier signals contain multiple time-frequency components. The multi-component extended computation diversity (CD) has the background of uneven energy distribution and taking this fact into consideration, a high-order computation diversity method is proposed and verified by corresponding simulations. Aiming at the problem of high correlation between some points in the high-order FRFC-CD data block, an energy averaging strategy based on data block inversion is proposed. The simulation results show that high-order computation diversity can reduce the system bit error rate, and the higher the diversity order, the better the reduction effect. The choice of order is limited by system resources, link attenuation and receiver sensitivity. The proposed energy averaging strategy improves the high-order computational diversity method and with the perfect combination of the strategy and method, the diversity effect is further improved.
