Abstract

In this paper, the mechanical properties of the permanent used in structural columns are studied, and the difference in seismic performance between the formwork and the traditional construction method is analyzed, which provides a theoretical basis for the engineering application of the permanent formwork.Firstly, the self-compacted concrete is prepared, and the mechanical properties of the concrete are measured by experiments.Based on the finite element software of ABAQUS,the stress contour plot, interlayer displacements and stress-strain curves of the two constructional columns were analyzed when they bear the same horizontal seismic action. The stress distribution of the new type of constructional column is very similar to that of the traditional construction column, and the difference can be controlled within 10%.The interlayer displacement meets the requirements of the code, and the difference can be controlled within 12%.The curves of stress and strain at danger point are very close. All of those can prove that their seismic performance is similar. The anti-seismic behavior of the new type of constructional column is expected to be comparable to that of the traditional ones by improving the surface roughness and then improving the bonding performance with concrete, which can meet the safety requirements.
