Abstract
Aiming at the problem of sub-synchronous oscillation (SSO) in DFIG series compensation system, a unified admittance model of DFIG is established, and the strategy of SSO suppression is further studied considering the control characteristics of DFIG converter control system. Based on the unified admittance model of DFIG in d-q reference frame, the main factors affecting SSO was analyzed under the series-compensated grid using the generalized Nyquist criterion (GNC). And an additional damping control strategy was studied based on stator current disturbance feedback on RSC and grid current disturbance feedback on GSC. The effect of synergetic additional damping control on RSC and GSC was compared and analyzed. The results show that the additional damping control can also suppress the SSO under the condition of higher series compensation. The correctness of the established model and theoretical analysis is verified by simulation.
