Abstract
The complex thrust ripple caused by detent force in the drive system of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) severely restricts its control performance. A thrust ripple suppression strategy for PMLSM based on enhanced extended state observer (ESO) repetitive control with second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) was proposed. Firstly, a repetitive control with periodic error tracking characteristics was constructed to suppress the detent force secondary perturbation. On this basis, the SOGI-enhanced ESO (SOGI-ESO) was proposed to realize the residual disturbance suppression in thrust ripples, and the SOGI bandpass filtering feature was used to improve the observation ability of ESO on specific frequency disturbances, and the secondary disturbance of detent force was further compensated while realizing the non-periodic disturbance suppression. Experimental results show that the proposed suppression strategy can effectively suppress the complex thrust ripple of the PMLSM system, and then improve the control quality of the PMLSM system.
