Abstract
Effect of pre-deformation before solid solution treatment on grain orientation, microstructure and properties of 6013 type aluminum alloy was investigated by optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and tensile testing at room temperature, intergranular corrosion testing, exfoliation corrosion testing. The results indicate that the grain orientation is weakened when the alloy is deformed before solid solution treatment, the weakening of grain orientation is increasing with increasing of pre-deformation; recrystallization occurs after solid solution treatment of pre-deformed 6013 type aluminum alloy, with the increase of pre-deformation, the average grain size increases, the dislocation density decreases, but the tensile strength of the alloy increases; the corrosion sensitivity of 6013 type aluminum alloy increases, the intergranular corrosion and exfoliation corrosion of pre-deformed 6013 type aluminum alloy occurs after solid solution and aging treatment, the maximum corrosion depth of intergranular corrosion and the degree of exfoliation corrosion increase with the increase of pre-deformation.
