Abstract

In order to study the heat transfer characteristics of an optical window with complex envelopment, a radiative-conductive coupled model of optical window with complex envelopment under the action of high heat flux is established. Subsequently, the effects of the radiant semitransparent feature, spectral selectivity, external heat flux and window size on the transient temperature response of the window are discussed respectively. The results show that the maximal 31.4% error occurs when the window semitransparent feature is ignored, and the maximal 40.39% error occurs when the spectral selectivity is ignored. The influence of the aerodynamic heating heat flux loading outside is significant, and the temperature response increases sharply with the increase of the heat flux. The thickness of the window also has a great impact on its heat transfer characteristics, and the temperature response of the window decreases with the increase of the thickness. However, the impact generated by the change of window's radius is negligible.
