Abstract

The human-structure dynamic interaction refers to the coupling of dynamic characteristics between structure and human, and the coupled system develops new dynamic characteristics. It has become an important field in the study of human-induced vibration and vibration serviceability of flexible structures. A series of experimental studies and theoretical analyses have been carried out on the interaction model, and the interaction mechanism between human and structure. In this paper, the measurement and modeling of human-induced load were briefly described firstly. Then the research progresses on the human dynamic model and the interaction between human and structure were introduced. The results show that man as heavily damped dynamical systems can increase the damping and change the frequency of structure depending on the relationship between fundamental frequency of human body and structure. Meanwhile, the vibration of the structure can affect the motion of human and change the human-induced load. Also, the vibration with different amplitudes and frequencies makes the dynamic parameters of human body vary in a certain range. Finally, the future research is prospected from three aspects: human-induced load, interaction between coupling system and effect of structure vibration on people.
