Abstract
For a new kind of dual-spin spacecraft mission which is used for earth-observation, a method to manage the rotor's angular momentum with magnetic torquers is introduced in this paper. Three magnetic torquers fixed on the rotor part produce periodic magnetic momentum which contracts with Earth's magnetic field, balancing the angular momentum caused by friction of bearing while no angular momentum accumulation is caused to the other two axes. This method is applicable in engineering. Simulation shows that the total angular momentum of rotor converges to the desired value and does not accumulate over time.
